From Prints to Pastures: Building MMC Holdings

Aim: Help launch MMC Holdings: a modern print shop and farm service hub keeping art, ag, and local food thriving

Our Story

My name is Mary-Margaret Conley, and I’ve spent 25 years working in design, technology, and creative media while also running a small farm in southern Indiana. Over the years, I’ve built signs, banners, awards, and designs for county fairs, youth clubs, and local businesses — while also raising livestock and supporting 4-H and FFA families.

That dual passion — art and agriculture — is the heart of MMC Holdings.

The Vision

We’re building two connected divisions:

  • MMC-Arts: A modern rural print shop that produces banners, t-shirts, awards, embroidery, and promotional materials for families, farms, and small businesses. Right now, we have to outsource our basic films and transfers, which delays orders by weeks and adds unnecessary costs. With your support, we will purchase an in-house DTF printer and UV printer to cut out the middleman, speed up production, and expand into sales at fairs, conventions, and trade shows.
  • MMC Holdings Farm Services: A secure agricultural services arm focused on livestock hauling, fencing, and infrastructure. By upgrading with a new livestock trailer, corrals, and barn repairs, we can help small farmers keep local beef, lamb, pork, and rabbit on our community tables.

Why It Matters

Our rural communities deserve reliable creative services, strong local food systems, and fair opportunities for farm families and 4-H youth. MMC Holdings exists to provide both. Every order and every haul is a chance to strengthen the connection between creativity and agriculture — and keep money local.

How Funds Will Be Used

We are raising $500,000 to:

  • $250,000 – Purchase DTF & UV printers, embroidery machines, vinyl presses, and event inventory for MMC-Arts.
  • $150,000– Buy a livestock trailer, build corrals, fencing, and repair barns.
  • $100,000 – Working capital: staffing, marketing, event booths, and a financial buffer while scaling.

Why Now

We’ve already proven demand. Sales are up 21.5% year-over-year, and September revenue grew nearly 18% compared to last year — even without the right equipment. With your support, we can break through bottlenecks, scale our impact, and create something lasting for our community.

By contributing to this project, you’re not just funding equipment or infrastructure — you’re investing in a vision that blends art, farming, and community resilience.

Thank you for believing in MMC Holdings. Together, we can make sure art and agriculture grow side by side.
